Message:For my doctoral dissertation, I have created a modern edition of
Felix Mendelssohn's oratorio, "Elijah." The conductor's score is complete and all instrumental parts are in keys for modern instruments (Clarinet in Bb, Tpt in Bb, and Horn in F). The text of
the conductor's score is entirely English. Are there any Finale users out there who are also conductors, musicians, etc. who would be interested in such a modern edition. The price for the score is
$50; the price for the score and parts is $195. This is substantially less than what you will pay Kalmus or Schirmer for their parts alone (with German text cue notes). You can purchase a Dover score for the conductor at $17, but it has lots of problems if you are going to use it for performance.
