Message:
Hi all, Have been coping with new/ modern music in score form & have to creat different time signatures for group of instruments in different time signatures than the rest of the orchestra. The object of the composer is that they play in independant timings and hopefully arrive at the same point at the end of it all. Question - how can I make an instrument or group of instruments have different time sigs and independant bar lines that clash with the main body of instruments.
Example: Orchestra is in 4/4 for say 8 bars (32 beats), how do I have another group in 3/4 display their own time spacing for 8 bars (24 beats) ???
