Repeat brackets and system breaks

Message:I have a first ending that is 6 measures long. When the ending goes to a new line, how do I get the first ending bracket to break nicely? I set the bracket in scroll view and after switching to page view the bracket went off the edge of the page. I fixed it by extending the bracket on the last measure of the repeat forward, but then when I extracted the parts, it broke differently on each part. Is there a way to make them break "cleanly" or do I have to keep adjusting them individually.
