Message:I'm using Finale 2003 and have a Yamaha XG SoftSynthesizer. Midi files sound great with this synthesizer but the midis I create using Finale sound much worse (same quality as when composing with Finale). How can I get my Midi's to use the same quality sound as my Synthesizer? I tried reading up on the Instrument Libraries and Sound Fonts but I'm unclear on what I should do.
Is there a way to use high quality sounds while composing as well as after exporting the piece to a midi file?
