Message:
Say I have a melody or motive that spans anywhere from one measure to several, and I want turn it into parallel chords following this contour. As I know now, there is an easy way to make parallel intervals with any melodic line, that is to transpose it while preserving the original notes. However, after that, If I try that trick again, it transposes both notes in the line rather than just the one. Works for a few chords (agumented, diminished), not many. Is there an easy way to do this? Perhaps Coda could inlude a "Parallel chords" plugin in future versions of finale.
