Good suggestion.

There is a way to do it, though it's not elegant:

Write the line you want to turn into parallel motion. Create some dummy staves - one for every additional note to the original. Copy the original line into each of the dummy staves. Transpose each of these newly copied lines for the parallelism you desire. Implode the music back onto the original line.

In other words, no, there's no easy way to do this.

Looks like a job for a plugin.
