I do not use a MIDI keyboard for note entry so it is very time consuming to enter chords and octaves. In many piano parts the bass line is doubled at the octave (in the same staff).

Is there a plugin or work-around shortcut that would automatically copy a line and insert it, an octave below or above, on the same staff?
