Message:This would be quite an extraordinary project, but Coda should definitely think about the possibility of somehow integrating finale with either an existing sequencing program or one they would write. For many my MIDI projects, mainly ones that I intend to have at least a partial score to, I prefer the score interface of finale to enter most of the midi data. As everyone knows, Finale is a notation program, not a sequencer, but WHY NOT? As more and more people are using sequencing programs these days, and as there do exist eclectic people such as myself who like to compose works in many styles, it makes sense that there should be a program with the sequencing/recording power of Logic Audio or Pro Tools, with the score editing power of Finale (or sibelius, or some such program). As far as I know now, it's either-or. I can use finale and get a good score and decent MIDI data, or I can use programs like Cakewalk, all of which, to my knowledge, have crappy score editors. Why not have both? Sure, it would be expensive, but so are many programs. Anyway, that's my diatribe. Anyone agree? Damien
