so, what might i set up and then hide to accomplish my purpose? or, do you know of a simple music printing program that would allow me to do this? yes, i could write it out by hand but it doesn't look as professional.

is there a way in Finale Songwriter 2010 to simply draw individual staff lines on a page. no time or key signature, just the clef and lines.

this would be to simply illustrate a scale or show chords of the key made from this scale.

thanks, miker. Finale or Print Music seem like overkill for my simple needs. i'll download a demo of SongWriter and see if that will fit the bill.

is there a way to resize tabs or staves in Notepad? i use NP to occasionally make worksheets for my students who are either young children or 40+ adults with aging eyes. both groups could benefit from larger notes and fret indications. though i know how to increase the viewing as I'm working on a pi...
