Re: Handwritten style vs regular style
Yep, tried copying to a new file and the chord suffixes didn't translate. Looks like I'm gonna have to do it manually!

Re: Chords symbol transposed in drums
Actually, Peter's method works perfectly. All I had to do was select the section I want to transpose instead of selecting the whole part. Problem solved!

Re: Chords symbol transposed in drums
One of the other issues here is that there several different keys in the part, so Peter's method doesn't really solve the problem. I need to be able to transpose specific sections.

Re: Chords symbol transposed in drums
Thanks! In this instance, the drummer:
a) is the band leader
b) is musically litterate
c) has perfect pitch
d) requested the chords
So I have no choice. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll try it and report the result.

Chords symbol transposed in drums
Hi guys! I have a score for a typical pop band and when I copy and paste the chords from any staff to the drum staff, the chords get transposed to the key of C, no matter the actual key of the piece. How do I fix that? Thanks!

Re: Tempo issue
Thanks Motet, excellent pun by the way! Your suggestion did not work, so tempo mark eh? Where would I find such a mark?

Tempo issue
I have a score that plays back very slowly, and adjusting the tempo in the playback controls doesn't do anything. No matter what tempo I set, the score plays back at the same speed. I guess there is something overriding the tempo setting, but I have no idea what.

Re: Showing note value in tabs
Thanks Peter, How would I draw the ellipse? Would you still use the articulation designer for that? I guess you'd need several different ellipses, since some chords have 3,4 or 5 notes. etc. And how do I save the articulation from your document as a library to import in my document? Will I loose oth...

Showing note value in tabs
Hi! I am writing guitar tabs, no notation staff above, just the tabs. I have the stems showing, offset from the notehead, everything is the way I want it except for one thing: how do I show the half-note and whole-note values? Right now, the stem for the half-note is no different than the one for th...
