EXPRESSION TOOL has NO colour when printing..
Hello. When I print my files theres no color (see the green text that says VERS, it turns black when I print the song) I use the mf-tool (EXPRESSION TOOL) to write the green letters... https://ibb.co/qJyWtCW However the small note that is a crash cymbal and that I've decided to be RED is RED also wh...

Re: Customize Tablature Staff size
Thanks anyways! I kind of thought this was a bit to much to ask of Finale. But even making just the 1st E string fatter would help a lot, if you or someone comes up with a way of doing that, please let me know =) !
Yes, I'll do it i Photoshop afterwards for now.

Re: Customize Tablature Staff size
Hi Peter! Sorry for not clarifying what I'm asking about. So, it's the thickness of the lines I'm asking about. Is it possible to make the first line (the note E on guitar) thicker, then the 2nd line (A on guitar) and 3rd line (D on guitar) as seen in the example I gave. Basically, can I customize t...

Yes, exactly! Sorry for not specifying that! And how can you shut off automatic spacing?at8ax wrote:the bar line changes" = the width of the measure changes? Have your friend shut off automatic spacing.

Make a "template" work on another computer.
I've created a template/document to use for a book I'm making together with a friend. We both are using the 2014 version of finale for Mac. The template works perfect on my computer but is acting a bit strange/different on his computer. For example: When I write a note in a bar, the bar line doesn't...

Re: Set Repeat sign closer to left bar line
Peter, now I get it! For some reason my Mac unzipped the file when downloading it. So I just changed those files to musx, and that didn't work. When I place your file in a folder I can change the .zip to .musx
Thanks again!

Yes, I've changed the file name extension from .zip to .musx but it doesn't work. I did this before in a previous .zip you send me and it worked then. I can try at work 2morrow, but there we have Finale 2011 for pc instead.

Set Repeat sign closer to left bar line
I'm writing a book for drummers, and have decided to not use Clefs at all.
I there any way to set the left repeat sign closer (preferable all the way) to the left bar line?

No?Peter Thomsen wrote:Finale 2014 does not "lock" measures in that way
I'm pretty shure I've managed to "lock" bars so they're not affected by how many notes you put in each bar. Just don't remember how!?

Make bars the same size and lock them?
How can I make all bars the exact same size in an already existing document?
And also lock them? (so they don't change size depending on how many notes I put in each bar)
