Thank you for your reply.
I want all note sizes and clef sizes to be identical in the whole song. I tried the resize tool, but that only affected the notes, not the clef.

How to resize treble cleff
For reasons unknown to me, the treble clef is much larger than the bass clef in measures 19-21, system 6 (see attached file). How can I resize just the treble clef in the affected measures so that all clefs are the same size:

Playback Dynamics
When I construct sheet music for piano, I often have to give the bass and treble clefs different midi channels so that I can change the playback volumes independently with the mixer. Otherwise the bass clef volume is too loud with respect to the treble clef volume. However, when I split the bass and...

Re: Finale Spacebar Click Playback on Mac
Peter, Thank you for your reply. I guess it works different on a Windows PC compared to a Mac. The Playback controls on my Windows PC are visible and I can still use the playback+click method to begin playback at any point in the score. I also noticed that the toolboxes for Finale don't seem to be d...

Finale Spacebar Click Playback on Mac
The spacebar+click measure works fine on my Windows PC. However on my Mac, using OSX 10.11.4 El Capitan, the spacebar+click always goes to the 'Human Playback Processing' screen, followed by the 'Click and Countoff' clicks, and then begins at measure 1. The playback sequence with the spacebar click ...

Repeat in Playback Control
I am using Finale 2014.5 on a Macbook Pro computer. What is the function of the 'Repeat' box in the Playback Control window? It has a '1' in the box and the value cannot be changed. The tutorials don't address the 'Repeat' box.

Additionally, why is there a 100KB limit on zipped file size? Many of my zipped .musx files exceed that limit.

Peter, thank you for the reply.
I was just surprised that Finale could make anything other than straight lines for the staffs. How can I make a layout with curved lines? I don't actually plan to make a layout with curved staff lines. I am just curious how it was done.

Thank you for the reply. I was using the "Edit Repeat Assignment" dialog box instead of the "Edit Ending" dialog box. I clean forgot about the "Edit Ending" dialog box.

Re: Looping Playback
Attached is a song with the same playback repeat settings. "Surprise Symphony" loops normally; "Anvil Chorus" does not loop correctly. To me, the songs appear identical in structure, so I don't know why "Anvil Chorus" does not loop the same way "Surprise Symphony" loops. I will re-attach "Anvil Chor...

Looping Playback
I have tried all the tricks in my toolbox and I still cannot get this song to loop. Is it possible to loop this song? I use looping as an aid to piano practice. Thank you for the informative reply. I created a new document per your instructions: "Select a region of 3 or more measures mid-document. Switch to the Repeat Tool if you are not there already. Re: Looping Playback
Peter, Thank you for your reply. Your version looped fine. I don't understand why yours looped correctly and mine did not. The only change I see is in the last repeat. I had selected "Always Jump" and you selected "Play Section 9 times". Why did "Play Section 9 times" work and "always Jump" did not?...

Looping Playback
I mainly use Finale for scanning in my piano lessons and then playing along with the song using Finale playback. I try to loop the songs, but the loops only work properly when there are no repeats. Re: Dynamics Not Playing Back Correctly
Peter, Thank you for your reply. The reason I assign the bass clef and treble clef to two different channels is because the bass clef often overpowers the treble clef during playback. With the bass and treble clef on separate channels, I can use the mixer to adjust each staff's volume level. I only ...

Re: Dynamics Not Playing Back Correctly
Peter, Thank you for your reply. Here are the answers to your questions: 1) I did not use the Document Setup Wizard. I scanned the music in using SmartScore X2 Pro and transferred the document to Finale 2014. 2) I probably didn't put the dynamics in correctly for the bass clef staff. I thought that ...

Dynamics Not Playing Back Correctly
All of the dynamic markings seem to play back correctly except the last piano ('p') marking in the attached file at measure 20. When that section plays back, it sounds more like double forte ('ff') than piano ('p').
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks...
