Re: Importing third party music fonts

I've just figured that cut and paste work fine and I that I can "erase" notes from xml so that's a big plus. It could still work well. I'll continue to find my way around the software and wait to see what Finale say about an update to Songwriter. Looking back through their blog, Songwriter 2012 is n...

Re: Importing third party music fonts

Thanks for your reply, Miker. Yes, I can see it might be a fiddly business getting the xml file into the ornamented template. Right now, I'm not sure how one copies over the music. Re: Importing third party music fonts

I may come back to this forum if I get stuck.
Cheers
Mike

Re: Importing third party music fonts

Thanks for your helpful thoughts. I've not yet bought any software - I want to know that it works before I do - so can you walk me slowly through creating the ornamentations and using them via "expressions," miker. Thanks. And if that works in PM does it also work in SongWriter and Notepad? Do they ...

Importing third party music fonts

How do I import a third party music font into PrintMusic (or Notepad for that matter if it's possible)? I have a font called Larsen which was created to transcribe Irish Traditional Music notation/ornaments and is compatible with Finale. But I have no idea how to use it and opening Documents - Chang...
