Hello, I'd like to write notes on the S staff (see the attachment) and then move some of them in the B.D. staff, so avoiding the line under the S. I tried to create multiple rests but Finale didn't do it! I checked and "break multiple rests" in the Edit Measure Number Region menu is deselected...do you know how can I do to create multiple rests?

Hi everyone!
I use Finale 2014.5 for Mac.
Just a quick question: in a score I have several violins. In the abbreviated name I have Violin 1 and Violin 2 etc. automatically. How can I delete the numbers and leave only the abbreviated name of the instruments?
