Could it be because I haven't been able to successfully download updates for version of 2014.5?
If I can get help with that, perhaps that could solve the problem.

Is there a technical phone support number for finale?

Before I send the files, could I be having this problem because the size of my finale 2014.5 file is 1405 KB?

I have Windows, and use 2014.5.

I have a few slurs that I entered into scroll view,
but in page view that slurs break.
See attached for an example (problem in first horn part).

Do I need to fix these by hand (and how do I do that),
or is there an easier way?

I have two finale files that export WAV files that play,
but another that exports a WAV file that doesn't play.
I need to get this last one to play.

My timpani part is displaying many note stems. Please see attached.

By seeing your edit on my file, I was able to work out what I need to do, at least part way. (I won't get into elementary details.)

I noticed a folder labeled "shapes" which contains four items.
I guess that's where all the smart shapes I need are located.

To where would I save the file?

I'm trying to enter a few up bow and down bow marks.
I selected the articulation tool,
and then clicked on a note to which I wished to apply an up bow marking.
The articulation selection box then appeared, and it was empty.

I have finale 2014. When I tried to apply an articulation, I found the selection box to be empty.

I've installed Finale 2014, and I can't get my keyboard to talk to my computer.
