Thank you Peter. I know they were all created in Finale, I shall check the extensions. Sometimes they convert and other times they don't. Go figure!

Hello. I am using the current PrintMusic for Mac. I have many old mus. files created in Finale (2001) and normally I am able to open them in Printmusic, but sometimes I get this message: 'Finale Printmusic cannot open the selected filetype. Please select another file' Is there some workaround I can ...

Mikes, thanks for your prompt reply! Yes it does it on every document. How does one trash the Finale preferences?
When I get home I will post a sample file.

I use PrintMusic to write organ music. When I try to add text anywhere on the page using the 'T' icon it places the text where I entered it AND on the instrument area (left side of the staff) AND it places itself in the 'instrument' list in the Window section. If I delete it there then the text disa...
