I just have, and await their reply. It's absolutely bizarre; only about 7 measures in the entire piece are behaving like this. They're spread out with 5 on one page, and 2 on the other. When I put smart shapes in THOSE measures, they have handles only for a moment, then they disappear (the handles)....

I upgraded to the newest version of Finale and there is no longer the playback issue; however, slurs and other smart-shapes CONTINUE to vanish after I redraw a page. Is this a common issue? Thanks ~MAR
