I'm experiencing the exact same problem. It just shuts down when I want to go to the print dialog either via the menu or via command-P.
I tried resetting the preferences and it didn't help.
I don't have any older versions of Finale, so this is a huge problem for me. What to do???

When I make a PDF from Finale, the problem is there in the PDF as well. So I'm sure the problem is with Finale, and not my general printer settings. I print from other programmes, like Pages or Numbers with no problem at all.

When printing in Finale v25 the print is not completely black. It looks like "economy mode" or something is turned on, but it isn't. This goes both for printing to a regular printer or printing to a PDF-file. I have never had this problem with earlier versions of Finale. Other programs, like Pages, ...
