Hide Tuplet Numbers
I want to hide all tuplet numbers in a score.
I searched the web and the manual.
I have the Change Tuplets dialog open, but I see nothing on how to hide all tuplet numbers.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Re: Pick Show Active Layer Only, and Spacing Is Ruined
With "Automatic Spacing" on (which should NOT be a problem), when you do Show Active layer Only, bars 5 and 7 and 8 (for starters) (treble) are spaced so that notes are actually on top of each other (in the same bar).

Re: Pick Show Active Layer Only, and Spacing Is Ruined
I never did any manual edits.
This document was made from a tiff import from smart score.
The spacing gets messed up IF you do Show Active Layer Only.

Re: Pick Show Active Layer Only, and Spacing Is Ruined
No, this happens with Layer 1 notes. It has nothing to do with spacing of notes in another layer being hidden when hiding a layer. Yes, if you turn off Automatic Spacing, then do Show Active Layer Only, it does not mess up the notes, but as a rule, I have Automatic Spacing on. This is a bug, unless ...

Pick Show Active Layer Only, and Spacing Is Ruined
When I click Show Active Layer Only (to show just layer 1), the spacing on the notes in many bars (treble) becomes ruined. And if you go back and unclick Show Active Layer Only (hoping that finale might fix what it just ruined), the spacing on the notes in many bars (treble) remains ruined. I asked ...

Thanks for a helpful answer.

Re: Staccato over entire upper clef?
Ron,
I must be missing a step or two from your description.
1. I select the entire upper staff.
2. I select the articulation tool.
then ? press s at some point?
Thanks.

Re: Staccato over entire upper clef?
Thanks.
I selected the MIDI tool, and selected the entire top clef and set the note duration to 50%.
I heard no change.
I cleared it and set it to 10%.
Still no change in playback.
See attached.
Am I missing something?
Thanks.

Staccato over entire upper clef?
For playback, is there an easy way to make the entire upper clef be staccato?
Also, for someone reading the sheet music, how would I notate it so they know to make each note on the upper clef staccato?
I checked the help, but had no joy.
See attached.
Thanks.

Re: Upper mordent
I am sorry.
I got it wrong.
Inverted mordent.
The eighth note D is converted into a 64th D and a 64th - E - and sixteenth D plus a half?

Upper mordent
I am tring to duplicate, for playing and for playback in Finale, an upper mordent (new to me).
I put an upper mordent at the right spot in the finale file, but I am not sure if I did so correctly, or how it is supposed to sound.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.
