Finale 26.5 Mac
I have upgraded to the newest version of finale but it keeps opening with an earlier version as default. How can I change the default version so it opens in the newest version?

Finale 25.4 Mac Is there a way to create dotted bar lines in a large score without subdividing into smaller bars and hiding time signatures? Making a 12/8 bar into 4 3/8 bars, hiding the time signatures and dotting the bar lines works fine for the instruments playing but wreaks havoc on instruments ...

If I have multiple staves for violin 1, multiple staves for violin 2 and multiple staves for all the other string parts, how can I set this up to extract all 3 staves for violin 1 and all the multiple stave parts accordingly?
