I know there are articles on this subject. But nothing worked.
I have a new computer. My old computer is on and I have the Finale Shortcut. How do I Transfer the whole program over to the New Computer. I don't need to transfer any work. Those are all on Flash drives.
Thanks so much. Michael

Piece starts at Adagio 72 quarter note with a Timpani Tremolo roll for 6 measures It you play the score timpani Tremolo and then play the Timpani Part the part sounds completely different then the score. In the part the Rol...

Importing
I received a audio and notes from a person out of town who did a Piano part for me. The piano part states MIDI SEQUENCE. I'd rather not have to write the whole piano part into Finale - ANY WAY TO IMPORT THIS. I tried and Finale doesn't recognize the audio file from my flash drive. HELP ANYONE. Thanks.

Re: Lost tempo when extracting parts.
Okay Motet, now that I have the tempo working I need to ask you a time issue. In the score the time is 7:01 to begin the Charleston and with the repeat 8:14 to end this section. Now when so far I have extracted the Piccolo and the tympani part ( which actually doesn't play during this section) the t...

Re: Lost tempo when extracting parts.
Motet, So I tried it on the score and I haven't found the sweet spot yet. But when I extracted the Clarinet 1-2 and moved the tempo over from the 1 to the 1+ we were good to go. So Tomorrow I will get it to extract hopefully.

Re: Lost tempo when extracting parts.
The score at letter V plays in tempo. Here is the trumpet 1-2 part and at V (half note = 104) it plays too slow. I don't know how to correct this on each part.
If I sent this attachment in the wrong format please advise. Thank you.

Re: Lost tempo when extracting parts.
I don't know what I would attach. The original score plays the Charleston section just fine. (Half note = 104) The Extracted individual parts from the score plays the Charleston section at 104 half the speed as the original score. (Not taking the half note into consideration). Is there a better way ...

Lost tempo when extracting parts.
I extracted parts from a pops Orchestra piece. In the Charleston section where the Tempo is (Half note = 104) if plays perfect on the original score but on the extracted parts it plays slow. 104 half of the above. Just that ONE PART. The rest of the piece is fine. I've tried everything but I can't f...

EXPORT SCORE AS MIDI FILE
How do I export my score as a MIDI file in separate tracks so the mix and master person can use more realistic sounds.
Before all I did was Score manager and specific part and export. Doing Midi I have no Idea thank you.

Hello. I need to get some musical numbers mixed and mastered. My instructions were.
You have to send all the tracks separated. Each one on its own wav file.
How do I do this.

Getting ready to print 11/17
Hello, My full Orchestra piece medley has 32 staves. I need to print the score. (Orchestra parts are fine) I went into page layout - page size and clicked 11/17 tabloid. The notes seemed awful small to read because there are 32 staves. Should I enlarge the note heads to 36 font? Or is this done by t...

Last measure
How do I lengthen out the final measure or final 2 measures. I have much text to write in this measure and I don't have enough room. Someone told me it was Highlighting the measure and then number 5 on the num lk on the keyboard. But I tried and failed on that. Anyway thanks in advance. Michael
