OP, I figured it out. Once you select all measures, you need to double click again so that not only your measures are selected, but all staves and in between them are highlighted blue. I'm having the same issue as OP. I'm selecting COMPLETE measures, and stacks of multiple staves. The "delete measure stack" is also greyed out for me and pressing delete doesn't work. I'm guessing I need to find out what's making it greyed out but I can't find anything that is making that happen.

Update: now, whenever I click on a measure in Studio View (specifically on an audio track) while I'm in HyperScribe, a pop-up says "Finale has encountered an error and will shut down" and then proceeds to do so. Fun.

Simple and speedy entry both work fine- it's something specifically with HyperScribe.
