JW Copy Part Layout (Mac & Windows) exists in 32 bit version (Finale 2010-2014.5) and 64 bit version (Finale 25 and above).
In Finale 27, Makemusic included it in the plug-in menu under JW Tools (compatible with Macs with the new M1, M2 processors).

No. I updated to Monterey some time ago, and didn't do anything in Finale. The authorization was preserved.

Re: Chord symbols on repeats
It is not a real second line like the one used in Lyrics (verse 1,2, etc...). It is more like "piling up" chords on the same spot. My suggestion was to create the second set of chords in another measure and drag them on top of the existing chords in the original measure. But there is even a simpler ...

Re: Using Different Time Signature Sizes In One Score
You could use the Expression tool.
1) Create a staff style (applied to the score and parts) to hide the time signature in the tuba solo.
2) Create a global expression (shape) or a couple of expressions (text) for the small time signature.

Document -> Page Format -> Score : redefine the system margins and to apply them, Page Layout tool -> Redefine Pages -> All pages That's one way. Another one would be to reposition the first system of page 2 (or the second system of page 1) the way you like (with correct margins), select it and go t...

If I understand your question correctly, the Measure tool offers a solution (see image) or you can define and apply a staff style displaying the full name.

Re: TGTools menu shortcut for ties
I suspect a confusion here :
mmike seems to speak about 0 (zero) which enters the first frame (at least on the Mac), not to be confused with letter O, also in Speedy, which hides a note or a rest.

...maybe a good reason to keep Finale 26 installed (27 and 26 can coexist).
Loading a 27.4 file into 26 should allow you to create pdfs without losing too much time.

Re: Layer 2 Invisible - after applying staff style
From what I could see, your Rhythmic Notation staff style is applied to Layer 1 and hides other Layers. If you edit it (via define staff styles), in Alternate Notation, Other Layers, select Show notes. But if you want rhythms to be at the top of the staff, you could use another approach : notes in s...

I've just seen the list of fixes, and there are certainly some very welcome items that fix some long-standing and oft complained-about issues. It's a longer list than many previous updates; though slightly underwhelming when you think they've had a year to work at it. No new features, either, that ...

Yes. In the staff attributes of that staff, Independent Elements -> Time signature. Barlines will line up. A different time signature can be applied to any measure of the staff, for a region of your choice.

Re: latest ARIA player version?
AFAIK, version 2 is Mac only. It was developed to ensure compatibility with the new Apple silicon (M1, M2) processors.
Other than that, Windows and Mac versions should be similar in terms of functionality.

Re: Changing size of individual measure numbers
Instead, for these numbers, you could use an expression in the Rehearsal Marks category. Look for "Measure Number" (automatic sequence). You can adjust its format if needed and place these expressions where you want. They will be separate from the numbers defined in the Measure Number Regions. You m...

Or... in the staff attributes of the staff that needs the 4 slashes, next to Independent Elements, select Time Signature.
When slashes are needed (4 of them), select the region in that staff and change its time signature to 4/4. Apply the slash notation.

A fermata (= point d'orgue in French) can be applied to a "real rest", not to a default rest (option defined in Staff Attributes : "Display Rests in Empty Measures").

Re: Moving snare drum from layer 2 to layer 1...globally
I understand that you would like the contents of Bar 1 to look like in Bar 2. You want to move just the snare drum to Layer 1 (which is a common practice). I don't see a quick and direct solution at first sight (not even in JW Staff Polyphony, as partial selections are not always possible), maybe so...
