Is there a preference option setting any where to stop Finale from automatically adding an extra measure at the end every time one edits near the end of the last existing measure? Finale is trying to be courteous in helping to continue writing a next measure. I keep leaving it there until i THINK i'...

Is there a setting to automatically open selected plugin panes upon launching Finale?
Perhaps there's a feature for executing a custom startup script to do this?
