Thanks, the 'Transpose' option is on the 'MassEdit' menu and I don't know how I missed it before! I searched the help for transpose but the search didn't find anything!

Real time entry of bass guitar

I am trying to enter a bass guitar line in real time from a MIDI keyboard, however I am unable to enter the lowest notes. I have tried to transpose the notes using my synth but that does not seem to make a difference. Is there a quick way to transpose the notes either as they are entered or afterwar...

Do you think it is worth getting the Song Writer version instead of Notepad? I think i will get the Demo version of that and see if it is worth the extra.
