Re: One multimeasure rest
I've worked for professional publishers who have required the '1' over one bar of rest. Quite commonly seen in certain parts. I like it, personally.

Re: Possible to create slur/hairpin by using keyboard mostly
Really? I can't believe this! So many professionals use Finale, but it seems like such a TEDIOUS program to use! I don't understand how they can spend time as professional orchestrators, for example, and not end up with RSI. Crazy. I'm working on a workflow now where I input in Sibelius - which is S...

Possible to create slur/hairpin by using keyboard mostly?
Just been through the tutorial on this, but it only shows how to do this with the mouse. Is it possible to create a slur or hairpin using the keyboard? Sibelius has a great way by simply pressing S and then holding space or re-tapping it to make the slur go to the next note on and on. It would take ...

Using Command (Apple) to select non-adjacent things?
Hi is there a way to select things that aren't adjacent, like various things you want - anything in fact, like certain notes that you want to re-spell enharmonically but aren't next to each other, or dynamics that align in some staves and not others, so you want to select only certain things ... Thi...

Re: How do I copy text?
Thanks. I might do that. However I realised, I can just create a new text thing every time and specifically copy the ACTUAL text after selecting it. I thought I could just select it once so it goes purple and copy paste ... is that the problem? That you can't copy paste the text THING but can copy p...

Faster way to select all / deselect all in Edit Filter
I'm sick of ticking and un-ticking everything in the edit filer so I can copy and paste things. Surely there's an easier way???
Also can someone please answer my previous question???
Thanks!

How do I copy text?
Hi I'm trying to copy some text - not lyrics - like "solo" written above an instrument.
I select it so it goes pink/purple kind of colour and has a box around it, and I go apple+C but apple+V won't paste it. I've made sure I can copy it in the edit filter... what am I doing wrong? thanks.

Re: Shortcut to delete a tie
ah! thanks. been trying to find this for hours!
I've watched all the tutorials but I feel like I have to go back to the beginning and watch it all over again because I'm forgetting things all the time

Shortcut to delete a tie
Is there a shortcut for the tie button? I can only work out a way to add them by clicking on the button. Surely there's a button that turns a tie on and off? - would save a lot of time.
Thanks.
Thanks.
