Finale knows the chords. However, they may not be the formation (inversion?) that you need for the sound that you want. You might want to work with a guitarist. adding measures
In the Simple menu, check Create New Measures. Measures will be added automatically, as they are needed. Or, you can add them by using the selection tool, right-clicking in a measure, and choosing Add Measures...
