I just bought Allegro because it has Smart Score Lite. I want to read choral music (four staves) and separate out one line (the tenor part). I am able to scan into Allegro, but when I try to change the volume or the pan of any one voice, all staves are changed. When I save as a midi file for another program (Cakewalk), all the voices are combined on two staves (treble and bass clef). How can either 1. separate voices in Allegro to change the volume or pan of one stave or 2. save as midi file and retain all four staves? Thank you.

Look at the Instrument List. I suspect that all of the staves are on the same channel. Reassign the voices to different channels, and that should give you more control.

Thanks. That strategy is a bit clunky, but seems to do the job.
