Change eight notes to quarter notes for a series of measures

Hi,

I have a series of measure filled mostly with eight notes. I copy that set of measures and now I want to slow everything down by half.

I thought I would change the note values (eight ->quarter). Is there anyway to mass change note values like this?The result would be an inceased number of measures as well.

I don't know Allegro, but:

If your copy of Allegro is similar to the full Finale, you can change the note durations by 200% in this way:

Mass Edit menu > Change > Note Durations...
