I have been trying to create a 'lead sheet' for guitar. I was able to create a slash sheet. When I tried to enter the chord changes it instructed me to do it on a different layer. I selected layer two. It said enter with the speedy entry. I selected quarter notes and tried to enter. I had a blank measure. But the notes were entered. I cannot figure any way to make the notes visible or to enter the chords.
Please help!

Chord symbols must be attached to entries (= notes or rests).
A common solution is to attach the chord symbols to hidden entries in another layer.
You tell that the quarters were entered, but hidden.
What happens if you attach the chord symbols to the hidden entries?
Do the chord symbols get hidden, too?
By The Way:
How do you enter chord symbols?
Via the Chord Tool's mode "Type Into Score"?

I have not checked to see if the chords hide themselve too. I have been entering the chords using the icon and filling in the rest. As soon as I check out the hidden problem I will get back
