Staff instrument

Hi !
I'm french and I use Songwriter on PC.
Is it a way to make "flute" and 'FL." disappeared ?

I don't know SongWriter, but here are some ideas:
1) Does SongWriter have a Staff Tool?
In the "full Finale" you can use the Staff Tool to edit the staff's appearance.
2) Does SongWriter have a ScoreManager?
In Finale 2012 you can edit staves with the ScoreManager.

Songwriter has effectively a staff tool, like for Finale I used before, but the menu don't permit the same options.
I know nothing about Score manager (I'm french and I don't recognize it !).

Pat,
What version of SongWriter do you have? There have been some changes over the years. Please add the program and version you are using to your signature, in the user control panel.
2012 has the Score Manager. It's in the Window menu. If you have an earlier version please tell me what you have.

I've a 2012 version (I rectified the user panel). I looked in the Window menu and it worked !
