Hello, I am using a classic multiple time signature: 4/4 in one stave and 12/8 in the other. Two problems:

1) I can't delete the last measure.
2) In the 12/8 stave the 8th notes are not beamed as they should, they are all seperate. I even tried to force them by using the option "display different time signature" and the composite
3 over 3 + over 8 + 3 over 8 + 3 over 8

The file is here:

1) I can delete the last measure without problems.
What steps did you follow when you tried to delete the last measure?

2) Set the "Number of Beats" to 4, and set the Beat Duration" to a dotted quarter.
Use the Mass Edit Tool to Rebeam the music.
Works for me.

Thank you for the "dotted" idea, it works.

For the deleting problem I uploaded a new file of just two measures, please try it. It's weird, I can't select the second measure with the Mass Tool. There still is a playback problem: the cursor seems to go faster than the playback.

1. In your new file I can select the second measure with the Mass Edit Tool.
I don't understand why you can't do the same.
Just one idea:
Is "Select Partial Measures" toggled on?
If it's toggled on, you have to double-click a measure to select it.

2. The problem with the playback cursor speed is caused by an old Finale bug.
To avoid the bug, make sure that the top staff displays the "actual playback tempo" time signature.
In Other Words:
Change the "actual playback tempo" time signature from 12/8 to 4/4.
Deselect "Independent Time Signature" for the top staff.
Select "Independent Time Signature" for the two lower staves.
In the two lower staves, set the (independent) time signature to 12/8.
