I have a string of similar text objects (fingerings for guitar tab) that I want to place above the stems (using TAB that shows rhythm.) Because Finale allows for micro-increment movements (a good thing) I find it is difficult to align this text. IT will all be along the same horizontal line. I can grab them all together with a hold-left mouse click. Is there a way to align them all together on the same horizontal line?
Thanks.

There are several ways:
1. With the Text Tool you can create text blocks, and you can control the text block's exact position by numbers:
Context-click on the text block's handle.
In the context menu, choose "Edit Frame Attributes..."
NB: A text block can be page assigned or measure assigned.
2. With the Lyrics Tool you can enter the fingering number as a lyric, and you can control the lyrics baselines.
3. You can also enter the fingering as an expression, and define the expression to, automatically position itself as you prefer it.
NB: An expression can be a measure expression or a note expression.
