Hello, I am new to Finale and I am trying to get it to wrap to the next line in the middle of the measure. The tune I am working on is 3/4 time with a quarter pickup note. The initial lyrical phrase lasts for 12 beats so I want it to put the first two beats of measure 4 on the first line and the last beat on the second line.
Thanks for the help.

You don't say which version of Finale you are using. In recent versions, a plug-in does that job :
Select the measure
plug-in menu->measures->split measure.
Select the measure
plug-in menu->measures->split measure.

Thanks for the reply. It is the 2007 version. Where can I find the plug-in?

There is a plug-in menu, with a special icon (a ...plug).
