Tremolos

Using Finale 2007C on Windows
I have a piano part where one measure is a "split" measure because the right hand stave temporarily changes clef after 2 beats of a 4/4 time piece. This measure is therefore split into 2 measures of 2 beats each. For the left hand I want a tremolo for the whole 4 beats (whole note). I cannot make the tremolo straddle the invisible bar line that splits the measure. I can only make the "4 beat" measure have 2 separate tremolos, each of 2 beats--1 in each split measure. Any way of combining the tremolo over the 4 beats of the measure?

Gordon,
I'm not familiar with 2007, but newer versions allow a mid-measure change of clef, so it wouldn't be necessary to split the measure. Can you look through your help files, and see if a mid-measure clef change is mentioned?

Look for a command in one of the menus to allow partial measure selection, as well. If you can do that, you may be able to apply the clef change to that partial selection.
