Hello I have doubts how it works repetitions

Here's an example I have two bars of 2/4

insert the first compas create backward repeat bar I put the following:

play section I put "10"
select target measure and I put "1"

repeated 10 times 1 ok !

in the second insert compas create backward repeat bar I put the following:

play section I put "10"
select target measure and I put "2"

repeated 10 times 2 ok !

ok So far so good now I put the beat 2 le inserted a repeat and select " goto to measure"

play section I put "2"
select target measure and I put "1"

does everything but when it comes to the beat 2 and have to jump to the beat January 1st is long

I start playing with the values only change the value of " goto to measure"

play section I put "40"

and it worked , I fail to understand the logic that if I upload using the values of the bars I stop working though "goto to measure" put 150

Welcome to the forum!

I am afraid I do not understand your question.

I looked at the document you attached, but I still do not understand.

Could you specify the precise repeat playback route you are trying to create?

Idea:
In the Repeat menu there are some utilities that can create repeats for you.
I suggest that you try them, and examine the results carefully.

Take a look at the attached document.
Do you mean something like this?
(Note the repeat playback route)

Now I understand the repeat route.

1) Your layout is confusing.
It took me a long time to find out what repeat route you wanted.
I suspect that many performers will have a hard time understanding your layout.
An idea:
Instead of using repeat bars, just use double barlines and rehearsal letters - and explain the form via a text block.
Most performers will immediately understand a text explanation of the form.

2) For the playback you can use hidden text repeats.
(= Set the text repeat font to the font style “Hidden”)

3) This is probably the step you were missing:
If you open your own document, and go to
Document Options - Repeats
you will see that the value for “Maximum Repeat Passes” is 20.
You must increase that value to 65.

See the attached document.
