Delete Lyrics (Some extra syllables)

I have a verse:

"co-rría- a has-ta Ar-gel"

I wanted to begin to write these words a an eigth before. I deleted, but because I used Type into score now, I see that there are some extra syllables now on the Lyrics window:

"co-rrí-a has-ahas-ta Ar-gel"

Whenever I delete these extra syllables, all the Lyrics of the song go some notes beyond their original position.

This is always a problem. My solution has been, rather than deleting syllables from the score, I select the region, and use Selection tool>Clear Selected Items>Lyrics. Then, I make corrections is the lyric window, and click-assign them.

Yes, sometimes this means selecting lyrics all the way to the end.

You can also use the Shift Lyrics, to get them to the correct location, although this can be a PITA.

Thank you Mike, for your answer.
The problem begin when I make corrections on the Lyric window.
I delete the extra 2 syllables and every lyrics go to the right.
