Playback and Lyrics to 2 Verses with almost the same music

In a song I want to write a second line of lyrics to the verse.
The 2 verses are almost identical, but not a 100%.
I know how writing a second line of lyrics under the first one when the music of the 2 verses is identical.

In the case they are nearly identican , how cloul I write the second line of lyrics?

And, when I Playback the song, what should I do to hear the 2 verses?

To give you real help here we probably need more info about the actual music.

Anyway, here are two “shots in the dark”:
What matters, is that the layout is clear - and impossible to misunderstand.
1) A repeat with 1st and 2nd ending is often the solution.
2) Sometimes the best solution is to write out both verses.

Do you mean not doing the repeat?

I'm going to practice, first, with repetition.
I've done it without repetition, and the score seems too long
