Welcome to the forum!
I suppose that you are talking about the Coda symbol (wheel symbol) entered with the Repeat Tool, as a
so called “Text Repeat”, right?
When you are in the dialog box “Repeat Selection”, click the {Coda repeat} to select it.
The button “Edit” becomes dark, active, when you have selected the Coda repeat.
Click the button “Edit”.
You get to the Repeat Designer.
When you are in the Repeat Designer, the repeat text (= the Coda symbol) is displayed in a generic text font.
Don’t worry about that.
Click the button “Set Font…”.
You get to the dialog box Font where you can set the font size.
The default size is 24 Points.
To make the Coda symbol smaller, set a smaller Point size.
To make the Coda symbol bigger, set a bigger Point size.

Hmmm - actually no. I couldn't find any of that actually - other than a dialog box for creating repeat signs. I created the coda using the "create coda system" found under the plug in drop down menu - measures. I am in 2014 - so it may have changed? In that section is a dialogue box for creating the DC coda, DS al coda etc. I just checked the coda symbol alone - and it created one for me. Now - how to make it bigger? I can select it - but there doesn't seem to be any way to make it bigger. I tried selecting it and going through the text box and increasing font size - but it doesn't recognize the selection as text.
I'll attempt to add a screen shot of the repeat dialog box options.

To get to the Repeat Designer:
Repeat Tool.
A handle appears on all text repeats - including the Coda symbol.
Hold down Shift, and double-click the handle on the Coda symbol.
The dialog box Repeat Designer appears.
Now you can proceed from the Repeat Designer, as described in my previous post (= change the Point size of the font).
