MIDI driver FINMIDI "not found"

Hi!
After several years of faithful service, my Finale 2007 now has problems with the MIDI driver: When I start Finale, I get an error window: Error loading MIDI drive FINMIDI: file cannot be found"

I have checked the Finale File on my C: and the driver is there (i.e I have one FINMIDI (text) and one FINMIDI.DLL)

What could be wrong? Thank you!

I could solve the problem by restoring Windows XP to a previous point. I think there was a Windows Register problem. It is solved now, thank you any way.
