So i am using the 2014 version of finale on mac at school here and can't figure out how to make finale account for the alternate tuning for the guitar and bass. Everything is supposed to be in E-flat standard tuning but i don't know how to tell finale that. I already have the score laid out and all the tracks are there already. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum.
From the user manual:
If you are using a non-standard tuning, or other fretted instrument (lute, banjo, etc.) you can manually customize your string tuning in the Score Manager. Choose Window > Score Manager, select the tab staff, and click the Settings button next to the "Tablature" popup menu, then click Edit Instruments.
