I've written a Measured Effect in some measures for Violin, to simplify the writing:

2 eightht notes witth articulation tool nº. 32 in Finale 2012 = 4 sixteenth notes

But when I Playback I only listen 2 eightht notes.

I appreciate your always valuable help

The tremolo articulation does not by itself play back as a tremolo.
If you examine the articulation definition, you will see that in the Articulation Designer the tremolo articulation has its Playback Effect set to “None”.
As a matter of fact the Articulation Tool is not able to create tremolo playback.

To get tremolo playback you need Human Playback to interpret the tremolo articulation.

You can e. g. use the Human Playback® Style “Standard”.

Thank you, Peter, for your answer.

The Playback style is already Standard, but I only listen 2 eightht notes.

I am not quite sure this is a tremolo.

The usual notation for it is 4 sixteenth notes. So I hoped it's going to sound as 4 sixteenth notes in the Playback

Another solution would be to enter all the notes in another layer, hide that Layer and make Layer 1 silent.
This is how to achieve it :
1) Enter all the notes you want to hear in Layer 2, and select "Show Active Layer only".
Select the region, and apply the plug-in Note, Beam Rest Editing -> Notes and Rests Hide
Effect : Notes in Layer 2 will now be invisible, but they will play.
2) Then in Layer 1, enter the notation you want. Mute Layer 1 only. It can easily be done with the plug-in JW Change -> Note Entries -> Playback -> Mute -> Layer 1 (to be installed).

Thank you, Mike,

It's too complicated for just an exercise of Orchestration.

But I'm going to practice your solution, anyway
