Hello,

I am trying to write a few hymns with multiple sections, where the parts are different for each section (intro: instrumental, refrain: choir, verses: soloist). I haven't found how to do this in help or in forums.

Thanks,

- Daniel

Welcome to the forum!

I am not sure I understand your question.
If I misunderstand you, then I apologize.

You can set up a Finale document with all the instruments you need, and hide the empty staves where a part has only empty measures.

I would first lock the systems (in Page View), then switch to the Staff Tool, select the region with empty measures, and go to
Staff menu > Hide Empty Staves
