Hi There,
Any help would be DEEPLY appreciated. I'm working on a time sensitive church project and after having imported TIFF pages, I am left with one measure (which isn't controllable with the measure tool) that is floating off the page (see picture). I select the notes and change their position, but I cannot delete them! It doesn't function as a normal measure insofar as I cannot see the staff lines and I cannot attach lyrics to the "floating" measure, as I have called it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!
Please help! Floating non-measure after scan import

Have you updated the layout?
It seems to me that these notes belong to the measure before an that this measure is filled with too many notes...

Welcome to the forum.
Try viewing the score in Scroll view, to see if that will help you determine where the notes should be. You might have to add a measure in the middle of the score.
This sort of thing is not that uncommon with scans.
Please post the file, so we can have a look at it. In order to post a file on this forum, it must be compressed (zipped) and the total size must be under 100KB.
