Hello, I beg your pardon in advance for asking something which I suppose to be really stupid.
I am working at my first orchestral score. I would like to focus on one staff during the playback mode, instead of seing the whole score without the possibility to zoom or move in pan mode. Infact, when I press the play button, the screen refersh and I can only see the entire page (sometimes only the first 12 staves), and not only a specific staff. I hope this make sense to you.
Can you please help me?
p.s. I want to see the staff of the instrument I want to check in a zoomed way during the playack of the score (not only the midi of that unique instrument).
many thanks in advance
silvia

Welcome to the forum.

View the score in scroll view. Then, you can select the staff you want to view during playback. Also, make sure you have chosen to start playback at the left hand measure, so it doesn't jump all the way back to measure 1.

… and in Scroll View you can create a Staff Set of only that staff, so that only that Staff Set (= only that staff) is shown in Scroll View.
