Some years ago someone edited for me this piece. Last year I decided to convert it into Finale 2012.

In the document I submit there is an unwanted long red line (measures 12-15) that I don't know how TO DELETE

A appreciate your always valuable help

I haven't tried to open your attachment (what suffix is .rar?), but from the description, I'm guessing it's a Word Extension attached to a lyric word? If so, it can be deleted via the Lyric tool (activate Word Extensions), or perhaps by using the Measure tool to block Word Extensions.

jose oscar,

The red line is indeed an “orphan” word extension, caused by a switch to Verse 2 at that very place.
My guess is that the Lyrics entry method was “Type Into Score”, and that the switch to Verse 2 was caused by inadvertently hitting the DownArrow key.

I would clear the lyrics, examine/correct the lyrics via the Lyrics window, and assign the corrected lyrics again, via Click Assignment.

.rar is a file compression format, just like e. g. .zip.

Thank you, Peter and at8ax,

I'm going to assign the corrected lyrics again, via Click Assignment, then.
