How to put two different instruments on one staff?

Hi everyone,

I have searched the forums quite a lot on this one, but I could not find anything that I understood.

I want to put two different instruments on the same staff. I have a contrabass and violoncello, but want them on the same staff. How can I do that. Also, if I take two of the same instruments, how should I put them on the same staff?

Welcome to the forum.

Open the Score Manager. Click the triangle next to the staff that you are working with. This will open and show layer one, layer two, etc. Assign your instruments to different layers.
