Time signature: change for just 1 measure

The piece is in a 4/4 Time.
I'd like to change just measure 2 into 3/4. Then, from measure 3, come back to 4/4 again.

Thank you, Peter, that's what I was intendind to do, but...

how did you manage to do it?

Because when I select 1 measure and change from 4/4 to 3/4 all that follows that meausure is aout of place

Jose,

Click in the measure you want to change, to select it. Then, from the context menu, choose Time Signature>Edit Time Signature...

That will open the TS box where you can select the new TS, and specify it to only apply to that measure.
