The spacebar+click measure works fine on my Windows PC. However on my Mac, using OSX 10.11.4 El Capitan, the spacebar+click always goes to the 'Human Playback Processing' screen, followed by the 'Click and Countoff' clicks, and then begins at measure 1. The playback sequence with the spacebar click is exactly the same as if I had just clicked the arrow in the playback toolbox.
Am I doing something wrong on my Mac or do I have some setting wrong.
Thank you...

Take a look in the menu Window.
Is there a check mark next to the menu item Playback Controls?

Then that is the culprit.
Remove the check mark so that the Playback Controls window no longer appears.
Spacebar-Click playback only works when the Playback Controls window does not appear.

Peter,
Thank you for your reply.
I guess it works different on a Windows PC compared to a Mac. The Playback controls on my Windows PC are visible and I can still use the playback+click method to begin playback at any point in the score.
I also noticed that the toolboxes for Finale don't seem to be dockable on my Mac. they just kind of float around. Is there a way to dock them?

No, you can resize and position the palettes anywhere on the screen, but there is not a way to dock them - the feature “docking” is “Windows only”.
