Hi all!
I'm fairly new to Finale and am currently transposing a part for an ensemble. The piece is in cut time and there are several runs of 16th notes, but I'd like to beam them in the same way as the original music. I know how to change the beaming within the program, I just can figure out which time signature will provide the beaming I desire. Attached is the way that the original music is beamed. Could someone please help me? Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the forum!
What you show in the attached image, is - in “Finale-speak” - not beaming, but rather a secondary beam break.
No time signature can provide secondary beam breaks.
Instead, do the secondary beam breaks “manually” with the Special Tools Tool.
You could fill an empty measure with 16ths, and do all the secondary beam breaks in that measure.
Then use the Copy Filter to copy only “Secondary Beam Breaks” to all the other measures in the entire document.
When done, clear the {16th notes} measure so that it gets empty again.
